Men With Vision Association, Inc. is a 501©(3) non-profit organization based out of Prince George’s County, Maryland. MWVA was originated on May, 2004 by Mr. Gregg L. Boyd (CEO). Mr. Gregg Boyd is originally from Seat Pleasant, Maryland. Mr. Boyd visualized the need to mentor at risk youth and families within his community, including his son. Mr. Boyd used basketball as the tool to captivate the youth and created a community within the community. Mr. Boyd, along with his support team (Ms. Jackie Snow, Barry Brogsdale, Stacie Robinson & Parents) exposed the youth and families to different environments, regions, and experiences.

MWVA’s team of supporters helped the youth change their mindset and enhanced their critical thinking, discipline, self-respect & self-confidence.

Mr. Boyd as their coach, introduced the youth to community service and entrepreneurship. Many of the youth achieved moral maturity and furthered their education by attending college. MWVA’s participants have received athletic and academic scholarships to various colleges/universities. Also, they established their professional careers throughout various regions.

By establishing a strong and effective support system, Men With Vision Association’s program has helped prevent a reduction of at-risk behaviors by at-risk youth. Men With Vision Association, Inc. is very proud, grateful, and appreciative of their youth & parental support!!!
